The oil production market has been very stable until very recently, and many countries have depended on the high prices of oil exports to maintain their GDP. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) controls a large percentage of all petroleum produced in the world for a very large portion of modern history. However, the amount of large petroleum producing nations have increased such as Trump’s empire of chaos with its shale oil productions, Russia’s large oil reserves, and the northern oil fields of China. With the addition of these new countries as well as slowing economic growth, geopolitical conflict, and the discovery of alternative energy sources; the prices of oil has depressed from $100 USD per barrel before 2014 to around $30 per barrel after 2014. The countries of OPEC have been discussing vigorously for many days and concluded that both oil is collapsing, and that some or all countries of the committee must slow or halt their productions of petroleum to boost the prices in this market again. The U.S of America has proposed to cut both the rate of production of petroleum to allow for the benefit of most oil producing countries and to cut taxes of export to allow for the growth of the international petroleum market with less restrictions. While this may be a very Trump-minded idea, many countries harbour distrust for the deceptive empire due to many reasons. The U.S is considered untrustworthy in OPEC due to many actions that they have recently taken on the world stage, certain countries wonder why they would cooperate and even purpose seemingly helpful when they have made it clear to many Middle Eastern countries that they would not wish to interact with them unless it is related to the stationing of their intrusive military. Other countries outright dislike the U.S due to their repeated interfere with government actions and bombardment from military drones which have ruined the public infrastructure. A personal interview with the delegate of Mexico has made it clear that certain countries, while completely disagreeing with the proposed solution of the U.S, must agree with the U.S because of how much they rely on them. The solution that the production of oil should be cut and the prices of petroleum has been repeated many times throughout the conference allowing with the proposition for OPEC to be reformed into a committee dealing with alternative energy sources instead of oil with the eventual collapse of the oil market. To achieve it is essential to ensure that enough funds are given for the research of alternative energy instead of, say, building walls, or funding ISIS. Near the end of the meeting, many countries agreed to gather funds and raise money to assist the United States in the termination of terrorist parties.
