Today, a London plane heading towards Boston was hijacked and 182 people on the plane were taken hostage. It was found that a CIA official smuggled the terrorists and their weapons into the cargo department, unnoticed by airport staff. The terrorists then planted bombs on the plane with their motives unannounced.
The CIA attempted to hack into the computer system of the plane, but it failed as it was predicted and countered by the terrorists.
The CIA official that assisted the terrorists is confirmed to be an Al Qaeda member working under the directives of ISIS. Their affiliation with one another is unknown but it is predicted that ISIS is hiring members of the Al Qaeda to carry out their operations; thus causing tension between the two groups.
Countries urged Canada and the United States of America to deploy aircraft to intercept and possibly shoot down the plane as it is passing over Atlantic waters and then over Halifax.
Canada themselves released a statement in which they state that “the passengers’ safety will be our utmost priority” and that “Shooting down the plane will be saved as the absolute last resort”.
While countries were still being indecisive regarding whether to shoot down the airplane, the bombs were activated and the plane exploded over downtown, Halifax.
The explosion caused numerous casualties, not only among the passengers but also to the residents of downtown, Halifax. The debris from the falling aircraft destroyed a small part of the city, resulting in over five hundred residents being moved to the local hospital.
The Boston airport is currently evacuated and security has been amplified within the area.
The reasons for this rash act by the terrorists are unknown. There were no survivors, including the terrorists themselves.
It is assumed that ISIS is behind this horrendous act. Countries are at unrest and airport securities around the world are being tightened in fear of a repetition of this attack.
